The KSC Glock 17 is my field pistol. It is quite cheap, reliable, accurate and can handle life in the ditches and mud of Chobham.
I got mine for $112 from Red Wolf and I guess after the shipping it came to about £90. It was my first Hong Kong purchase, so I kept it cheap, but the gun arrived very quickly and I've had no problems with it so far at all.
My Glock has the rail frame and tactical grip, though I'm not one for 'bolting' things onto pistols. It looks good, and the grip is comfortable.
The only real let down here is the quality of the text and logo's on the slide. They are not very clear and I have certainly seen better. Having said that the overall finish of the gun is very solid and realistic. |

Loading the magazine with BBs is easier with this gun than any other GBB I've seen as the spring locks down so the BBs can be poured in. Gas is put in by sliding back the base of the magazine to reveal the valve. The magazine isn't held in the gun 100% firmly, but though there is a little movement it has never fallen out.
The hop up is adjustable using a tool which comes with the gun and is easily done with the slide locked back. The hop up has never needed re-adjustment.
When fired the blow back on the slide is swift and firm and the range and accuracy are very good (for a pistol). There is a bit of a kick to it too, and the slide locks back when the mag is empty.
In skirmishes this gun doesn't seem to mind what happens to it at all. It's been covered with the filthiest filth Chobham has to offer and still fired and reloaded without any sign of trouble. A very good rate of aimed fire is possible with this pistol.

I'd recommend this gun to anyone looking for a cheap, reliable pistol to use as a back up. There are upgrade parts available, such as metal slides and outer barrels, Lam units and torches, strengthened internals and uprated valves, and KSC also make the longer Glock 34 and fully automatic Glock 18C. |
The newest of KSC's Glocks is without doubt the nicest of the bunch. The G19 features a smaller frame than the G17 or 34, and it is made of a dark grey resin/polymer which has a definite metallic feel to it. The slide is made of a similar material to the others though lacks the Glock trade marks of the older models. The markings on the frame describe this as a 'Mil Spec Standard' model. The hand grips also lack Glock markings, and the smaller mag (23, two less than the G17 mag) has a plain bottom cover. Note though that both 25 and 50 round Glock mags will fit the G19, good news indeed. The picture below shows how the 23 round mag hangs out a little. |

The Glock 19 has a 4" barrel compared to the 17's 4.5" and the G 26's 3.5".The overall finish on the gun is good, and it feels very solid, At 750g it weighs more than a 17 and only slightly less than a 34 heavyweight. The frame is the difference and it gives this pistol a hefty feel usually only associated with Western Arms. The fact that the slide is is shorter and therefore lighter than the G17s works in the 19s favour when it comes to performance. Basically the lighter the slide the more power that gets to the BB!!

Internally, except for the shorter barrel, this pistol is the same as the other KSC Glocks, and is therefore likely to be as reliable and longlasting. Power on the BB is very good, and the blowback sharp and very quick. The hop up is adjustable and comes set high so adjustment is a must before combat using .2 BBs all KSC Glocks prefer .25s. The G19 has a railframe, so the attachment of torches, pointers etc is possible without any stress.
Price wise I think the G19 makes sense too. From Airsoft Dynamics it'll set you back £115, just a fiver more than the G17, and £10 less than a G34. But as a model the G19 is far superior to it's older cousins. Only the lack of trademarks and logos may disappoint a collector, but for skirmishing the weight, performance and price of this pistol may make it very popular
